
Konami: Music In Every Direction Microsite
Simon, Randy, Paula, and eROI. Video game juggernaut Konami used this game microsite to drive a fast-growing online community of the next American Idols. Mix one part Web 2.0, a copious amount of user-generated video, Flash, 2 parts YouTube, 40 ounces of licensed music, and the cold, hard sweat of the eROI design and development team and you get the latest and greatest launch this side of the Mason-Dixon line.
To leverage the code and capabilities of the American Idol contest microsite, eROI later launched the Konami Karaoke Revolution Community Site – a site, much like the games themselves, that offers kindred crooners a place to connect online, share videos and tips, rate each others performances and virtually applaud each other.
